Adarsh Para Medical Welfare Association runs Open Shelter Home (OSH) under Women and Child Welfare Department, Govt. of Haryana for lost, runaway, separated and abandoned children.
Vision
A safe, secure and nurturing environment for lost, runaway and separated children where they can heal, learn and grow into responsible citizens.
Mission
To create a safe and secure environment for runaway children and to provide them with education, healthcare, nutrition and emotional support for their rehabilitation and mainstreaming.
Counselor Section
Professional counselors provide psychological first aid, emotional support and guidance to children in distress. Regular counseling sessions help children overcome trauma and build resilience.
Inspection of OSH
Regular inspections are conducted by the Women and Child Welfare Department officials to ensure the quality of care, safety standards, and compliance with government guidelines at the Open Shelter Home.
Sports and Cultural Activity
Regular sports and cultural activities are organized for the holistic development of children. These include indoor and outdoor games, music, dance, art competitions, and festival celebrations.
Govt. School Admission
18 children from the Open Shelter Home have been enrolled in Government schools for formal education, ensuring their right to education under RTE Act.

Awareness Programs
Conducting awareness programs in the community about child rights, child protection, and the services available at the shelter home.

Preparation of home study reports and social investigation reports for children in need of care and protection.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the shelter provided food, safety, and healthcare support to vulnerable children and their families.
Rehabilitation
Stories of successful rehabilitation and family reunification.
Kulvinder
Successfully rehabilitated and reunited with family after comprehensive care and counseling at the shelter.
KUSHI
Child rescued and provided shelter, education and medical care leading to successful rehabilitation.
Tigrana Mor Rescue
13 children rescued from industries at Tigrana Mor and provided shelter, education and rehabilitation services.
